Happy Monday! This weekend was a total washout for us here in Orlando with all of the rain- I think we’re going on day 7 of rain now, it’s awful! The March of Dimes fundraising walk that I had planned to volunteer at ended up getting cancelled on Saturday, which was a bummer; it would’ve been my first event to volunteer as a Florida Hospital Children’s advisory member.
Having a free morning, we did get a chance to go to our favorite farmer’s market before the storms started, and picked up a few things while we were there. Most of our favorite booths were’nt there because of the impeding rain, so hopefully next week I’ll be able to share more photos of our go-to’s, like the kombucha Airstream that makes the best grapefruit kombucha on tap (and I HATE kombucha, except this one).
We did get to see our very favorite orchid shop, Ginny’s Orchids, at the farmers market, and her blooms are out of this world. We love her orchids almost as much as we love her- she loves Walter and Eloise, and she has become a dear friend of ours. So it’s no surprise that I found something for myself at her darling little booth! Who knew I needed a two-double mini arrangement for my coffee table?!
After making our rounds at the farmer’s market, we made the walk back to our second home on Park Avenue, Barnie’s, for a croissant and an iced latte. I took the chance to try out the new Wildbird sling that arrived this week, and it’s absolute perfection! If there is a babywearing sling that makes my soul sing, it’s this one. Wildbird x Nena & Co.’s sling collaboration is nothing short of perfection. I’m in love with a fabric, and I don’t care who knows it! (five points if you know the movie reference here!)
I’ve been getting a lot of feedback on these new overalls from Target on Instagram, and they are my absolute favorite! I wear them often, along with these Winona sandals from Target. Not even kidding, I’ve purchased three pairs of these shoes just because they’re so incredibly comfortable and I’m terrified that Target will stop carrying them soon.
