top // overalls, destroyed ones here) // heels // bag
Happy Thursday friends! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I’ve been crushing hard on overalls these past few months. They’re easy, versatile, and so easy to dress up or down! Yesterday Kristyne and I shot around Winter Park, and earlier in the morning we took Eloise for a quick photo in her fall outfit with knee-high socks… if you’re wondering how well it went, well, it didn’t go well (you can see the #reallife photo on my Instagram here). But I will say, her skin rolls going over her knee high socks are reeeeally cute.
My morning outfit was kept really casual with the Wenda flats from Target, and gave a very Free People vibe (these Target shoes are the Free People dupes!) for breakfast, but at lunch I grabbed my Ema pumps and threw them on for a more polished look into the afternoon hours. Sale alert: my floral top is on clearance for less than $20! It’s adorable with a nude tank or even a colored one underneath.
My favorite accessory from this outfit is my Nena & Co. convertible day bag, and I’ve been getting a lot of questions about it. Nena & Co. is a company here in the US that uses sustainable huipil and artisan fabrics to make their bags. The workshops are in Guatemala, and with ethical work practices and responsibility, Nena & Co. pays premium prices for the fabrics and leathers used to create these bags. I’ll be posting a blog post next week on my Nena collection and why I’m obsessed with each bag I own.
Until the next post, enjoy these two gems of photos from yesterday morning’s attempt at photos with Eloise. Who knew I could be such a jerk parent for asking her to stand up?!
