Happy Friday, friends! This week has been a blur with the Norovirus hitting our house hard, but I’m so excited that the Weiss family is over this stomach virus and that the weekend is here! Today I’m rounding up my favorite things, including an awesome sale, two fun Orlando activities, a book that’s a huge hit in our house, and a big thank you- to YOU!
1. The Keds online sale is too good to miss!
No really, this sale is good. I actually ordered this exact pair of sneakers last week, and I’ve already worn them three times- their shipping is so fast! Several pairs of Kate Spade Keds are on sale as well (yes, the glitter ones!) and if you haven’t checked out the Rifle Paper Co. x Keds line yet, you need to! The coupon code TREATYOURSELF25 can be used on those Rifle Paper floral sneakers too… see?! I told you it’s a good sale! I’ve linked several more of my favorite sale sneakers below that I know my closet would love too 🙂
2. Hello pumpkin patches!
Last weekend we made a visit to the Club Lake Plantation’s Fall Festival (you can see our visit here), and tomorrow we’re headed to another pumpkin patch at Southern Hill Farms! This patch is actually at a working blueberry farm so I’ll be interested to see how this one compares to last weekend’s. I’ve heard wonderful reviews from friends of ours, so I’m excited about this one! Outfits are already picked out for the kiddos, and I can’t wait to do more pumpkin photos.
3. The Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival
This weekend we’re also making the rounds at the Winter Park Art Fest, and my fingers are crossed that the weather will be just as nice as it was last year. Everything from paintings to sculptures, to jewelry and more will be at the show and for sale along the sidewalk and on Park Avenue- they’ll be shutting down bustling Park Ave for the entire weekend, and I’m sure you can find us sitting at Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen on Sunday morning with Walter running around on the closed-to-traffic Park Ave. You can find more information about the festival here.
4. Our new favorite bedtime story
My mom recently ordered this book for Walter, and it is the biggest hit in our house! I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time reading a book, and I think Walter and this interrupting chicken have a lot in common 🙂 I highly, highly recommend this book, and Walter gives it his seal of approval! You can purchase the hardback Interrupting Chicken for $7.09 (cheaper than Amazon!) at Target.com.
5. A big thank you, to YOU!
Earlier this week I wrote a post for World Mental Health Day about my journey with postpartum depression, and I can’t thank you enough for your kind words and encouragement. All of the comments, messages, and texts were overwhelming and I am still blown away by the support. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU.
This weekend is going to be a good one, I can feel it! Wishing you a wonderful weekend, and I’ll see you back here on Monday!
