Happy Friday! My favorite things of the week are on deck, and the #1 for today is about you, yes YOU!
1. the overwhelming response on my recent post, What Not to Say to a Parent of a Special Needs Child (read: how to not sound like an a**hole)
We are grinning from ear to ear here! The response from the post What Not to Say to a Parent of a Special Needs Child (read: how not to sound like an a**hole) was incredible, and I cried when I read all of the comments and shares on Facebook. This post has over 6,500 pageviews and more than 220 shares on Facebook- it’s surreal! I cannot thank you enough for the overwhelming support and uplifting words about the comments and questions we receive about Eloise’s condition, and how we handle them. I just want to hug you all! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU.
2. Cue Will Smith’s “Welcome to Miami”!
It looks like we’re headed back to Miami in the next few weeks, and I am so excited to be sharing a family weekend getaway with Loews Hotel Miami Beach! I can’t wait to share all of the activities and fun that Loews has to offer, and how it’s the perfect getaway for our family.
3. “Say ‘bay-bee’!”
Eloise tried to say “baby” earlier this week and my heart melted. Take a peek below, it was the cutest! She still has only said “mama” and “dada” a few times, but having “baby” be her third word would be awesome. She sure does love her babies! To view the video, type “baby” in the password box 🙂
4. these shoes have proved themselves (and you need a pair!)
I know I’ve mentioned these Target Wenda shoes that are the dupes for the Free People Royale flats, and I just want to give these Wenda shoes some extra love. Yesterday I walked two Disney Parks in five hours and I had zero blisters. These shoes are so comfortable and so wallet-friendly at only $32.99! You can’t beat it.
5. And the winner is…
The Vera Bradley giveaway was a huge success earlier this week, and I’m excited to announce that the winner is Katie S.! Congratulations, Katie!! Expect an email in your inbox shortly 🙂
Have a great weekend, friends! I’ll see you back here on Monday 🙂
