Happy Monday friends! This weekend was jam-packed with family time and fun things around Orlando, but we did have a chance on Sunday to let the kiddos run around at Lake Eola Park downtown while we shopped the Orlando farmers market around the lake. If you haven’t been, it’s definitely a must-try! You’ll want to come hungry, the food tents are all SO good!
The weather in central Florida is going back in the high temps again (RIP the cooler days) and it was every bit of 85+ degrees yesterday. The kiddos love it, but not being able to wear denim overalls daily has me scrambling to find warm-weather clothes that fit and look cute- something that I often have a difficult time finding. BUT, I walked in Old Navy earlier last week and fell in love with this fit and flare cami dress and have gone head over heels for denim jackets again! This denim jacket (under $40!!) has distressing and definitely gives off the old Abercrombie & Fitch vibe- who else remembers those?! I still can’t believe I got rid of mine in college 🙁 Anyway, this is a total #momoutfit but I’m obsessed and might have to get this dress in every color because I love it this much.
Huge bonus: Today only (March 4th) this dress is the “Deal of the Day” at $17.50! It comes in several colors and is SO adorable AND comfortable! The smocked back is very forgiving and I’m wearing an XL, although I probably should’ve gotten a large.
Target is also killing it this season with their kiddo style by Cat and Jack! Walter’s shorts are $5, FIVE DOLLARS and right now there’s a Cartwheel offer for 20% off this week, making them only $4! I kid you not, we have about a dozen pairs of these elastic + drawstring shorts in all the colors, and they’ve become a huge staple in Walter’s wardrobe. Pink, green, khaki, navy… we have them all! Moms of preschoolers, get on these NOW. Eloise’s little maxi dress (only $15!) is absolutely precious and was an immediate/impulse buy last week and I have zero regrets. The ruffle straps, the elastic back, the pattern… I just love it so much! This yellow maxi dress screams spring and makes me so happy, and Eloise adores it too.
Eloise’s sun hat is a recent find from the Janie & Jack outlet and was only $7! I’m devastated that Janie & Jack is closing their doors, and I’m really hoping that retailer can buy this brand because there really isn’t any place like it.
