Happy Tuesday friends! I am SO excited to share Eloise’s special day last week, as she had her first ice skating lesson! I couldn’t be more thrilled/nervous/elated/anxious for our girl’s new adventure on ice. For two years she’s been sitting on the bleachers with me while we watched Walter during his skate lessons with Perri, and within the past several months she’s been desperately trying to get on the ice too. Thanks to our skate coach Perri (who we looooove!), she gave Eloise the go-ahead last week for her skate lesson and I don’t think my fingers could click “purchase” fast enough on the pair of figure skates that I had found online and had been dreaming of Eloise owning.
The box with Eloise’s ice skates arrived Thursday mid-day and just in time for her skate lesson at three. Peter had taken the day off because he worked the following weekend, and he was able to capture the special moments on camera for us to cherish forever.
We are so thankful to have Perri as our skate coach for the kiddos (both of them! AHHH!), and so grateful to have her as a friend. If you are looking for a figure skating coach in Orlando, I’d love to give you her information. She is the best. And now that she has both kids, I can only see a sibling-pairs group forming… next stop, Winter Olympics 2034!
Kidding! …sort of.
