The Day Job
Hi There! I’m Faison [ fay-sen or fay-zen], and I’m the face behind Faison Anne. During the day you’ll find me with my camera in one hand and a toddler snack and balancing a baby bottle in the other. I’m a natural-light lifestyle photographer, and mainly work with families and children. When I’m not working with a client or in front of a computer editing away, I answer to “Mom” to our little boy, Walter, and our newest addition, Eloise.
Quick Facts
I’m from Houston, Texas but currently live in Orlando, Florida. Living in the same town as Mickey Mouse is different- I wouldn’t have ever thought we’d be living here after graduating, but we really love it here. I live for chai tea lattes and my sweet tooth can’t be tamed. I knit and crochet, but don’t worry- I don’t make itchy sweaters! I speak French and Spanish fluently, but can’t cook a meal to save my life. It’s so bad! Manicures and pedicures are my love language, and so is a peanut butter cookie from Gideon’s in Orlando.

I like to think this is a little more than just a mommy blog: this is a mix of all the good things in my life, so you’ll see a good dose of photography-related posts and several how-to’s for budding photographers. Being at home more will give me time to learn to cook, so you’ll see some easy recipes that will (hopefully!) work for us and a few juicing concoctions as well. You might find an occasional outfit post, and I’ll definitely be sharing my love for couponing. Gotta pinch those pennies, y’all! (Oops! My Texas is showing!)
